1950s Blue irregular sided Royalty tin commemorating the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II
1950s Blue irregular sided Royalty tin commemorating the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Unususal tin which could be quite rare as the date of Coronation given appears to be 1952, whereas the Coronation was in 1953. There is a scrape right over the date so it is pretty difficult to say 100% but I am 80% sure. In any case it is a very decorative and elegant tin with curved corners and great photos of the Queen on the lid and front and A very young looking Phillip, Duke of Edinborough on the back. the Royal crest is on the side. It measures 5 1/2” by 4 1/2” by 5” tall. It has Gray & Dunn on the bottom. In very good condition with minor wear and tear.
