1937 King George VI Coronation WM. A Rogers sugar and tea strainer spoons

Unique pair of silverware spoons commemorating the Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth (formerly the Queen Mother).

Made by WM A. Rogers company. I believe these are silver plated since there are no other markings besides the ' WM A. Rogers' mark.

Very unusual pair though with coin shaped tops containing the images of the Royal Couple framed by a wreath with 'Coronation 1937' and both crowned. Delicate beading runs down the stems and the strainer has holes in the bowl spaced in a geometric pattern. The sugar spoon bowl is shovel shaped with shell-like ribs. They are quite thick and substantial and measure about 5" long.
