*1953 Queen Elizabeth Coronation gold collector tin by McVitie & Price Ltd.*
Beautiful hinged tin commemorating the 1953 Coronation of Queen Elizabeth. Tapers from a wide bottom to a smaller hinged lid with a very nice image of the Queen on the lid. The sides have a crown and the front and rear have a crowned shield with ER inside. The entire surface is a gold diamond patterned metal with red stripes around lid and bottom of tin.Inside the lid it has "McVitie & Price Ltd. Edinburgh, London , Manchester Coronation Souvenir, June 1953". It is in very good condition with minor wear on the top and edges.
Measures 7" by 6 1/4" on the bottom. 6 1/8" by 5 3/8" on top and is 2 1/4" tall.
