*1950s Blue irregular sided Royalty tin commemorating the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.*
Unususal tin which could be quite rare as the date of Coronation given appears to be 1952, whereas the Coronation was in 1953. There is a scrape right over the date so it is pretty difficult to say 100% but I am 80% sure. In any case it is a very decorative and elegant tin with curved corners and great photos of the Queen on the lid and front and A very young looking Phillip, Duke of Edinborough on the back. the Royal crest is on the side. It measures 5 1/2" by 4 1/2" by 5" tall. It has Gray & Dunn on the bottom. In very good condition with minor wear and tear.
