*1930s Rectangular Riley's toffee Tin with Royal Family Photo* Nice tin with "Riley's Toffee Riley Brothers (Halifax) Limited,Halifax England" embossed on the bottom. It is a red rectangular tin with angled corners and gold decorations around the lid. The photo on the lid looks like a Marcus Adams photo and shows the Royal Family with King George VI, Queen Elizabeth (Bowes-Lyons),Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret.I'm assuming this was after the coronation in 1936. From the age of the two Princesses it appears to the early 1930s. Measures 5 1/2" by 4 1/4" by 1 3/8" tall.
